I am a scholar and policy advocate working at the intersection of technology, society, and governance. My work focuses on how digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and networked media are reshaping politics, civic engagement, and public life, particularly across the Global South. I am committed to advancing ethical, equitable, and inclusive digital futures.
Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of Flexsoft Technologies, leading strategic innovation in digital systems and technology solutions. Previously, I coordinated Sri Lanka’s engagement in the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (UN-IGF) and have held leadership roles in national ICT organizations, public sector institutions, and civil society.
My research includes publications on digital colonialism, internet safety standards, and regional AI policy developments. I am especially interested in platform governance, data power, and the evolving relationship between technology and democracy.
Always open to collaboration, dialogue, and partnerships that promote responsible and human-centered digital innovation.
